My name is Ida Lunga and I am the president of LUNA. Study-wise I am part of the department of biology and the study council BÖÖL, being I study molecular biology. Before I was elected president I was among others a member of the union board, vice chairperson of BÖÖL, a parliament representative and fourfold mentor during the novisch period. As president I work full-time at the union with education monitoring, administrative work, and representing the union in the best way I can. I work closely with the different student councils and the union board and committees to ensure continuous communication between students at the faculty and the union. I aim to make your education the best education possible. My work takes place within the union and faculty, at the university as a whole, and even on a national level. Yes, students can make a difference. When I am not buried in union-related work I like spending my time upside down doing acrobatics, playing games or reading a good book, or just dying my hair its next crazy colour.
