Are you going to start your studies at the Faculty of Science this spring? Have you remembered to respond to the admission? Then this is the right place for you, the page for the Science Student Union (sv: Lunds naturvetarkår), LUNA. The Science Student Union works for all science students, making sure that you as a student have a great time in Lund and that your rights are being upheld. As a student at the Faculty of Science and a member of the union you can become active in everything from education monitoring, gender and equality issues and environmental work to career events, parties, sports and game nights.
All new students at the Faculty of Science, both students who start a program or take single courses, are welcome to take part in this year’s novisch period. It will start with an introduction meeting on the 25th of August at 12:00. The novisch period will be adapted to the COVID restrictions, and take place mostly outdoors with fun events almost everyday until September 11th. A few events that are indoors might require a sign-up due to a limited number of tickets.
To be a member of the union and take part in most of the student life in Lund as well as some of the housing options, inkluding AF Bostäder, you must be a member of Studentlund. Studentlund is a collaboration between Unions, Nations and the Academic Society so that one membership can give you access to a wide variety of activities and opportunities. You register for your Studentlund membership at the Studentlund web page. If you have any troubles, contact us in the union and we will help you out.
