Yesterday, the parliament convened for its last meeting during 2020. This was also the last meeting for the current parliament presidium and parliament representatives. The student councils are electing new parliament representatives at their December grand meetings, and a new parliament presidium was elected at the meeting yesterday. During year 2021, Sanela Lulic will be the chairperson and Sebastian Pfaff will be the secretary of the parliament.

Apart from this, four other elections were made during the parliament meeting. Elisa von Kobyletzki was elected as spokesperson for the gender and equality committee, Sofia Bjarheim was elected as Tandem general, Viktor Hrannar Jónsson was elected as SFS-FUM representative and Elvira Källberg was elected as alternate representative in LUS elective Ting.

Apart from elections, the parliament approved upon an addition to the union opinion document. The addition adds opinions regarding hiring of teachers at the faculty. The parliament did also approve of the addition of an internal committee structure in the mentor committee directives, as well as some changes in the policy for regulatory documents.
