Gender and Equality Committee (JoL)
The Committee Gender Equality and Equal Treatment (JoL) represents the students’ interests regarding equal treatment, gender equality and all matters related to discrimination or harassment. Our vision is that all students associated with the Faculty of Science will be treated equally and fair, regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation, in all aspects of their education.
The committee consists of two by parliament elected chairpersons who represent JoL at faulty level, and student representatives from each of the student councils. These student representatives should have an active role in the corresponding committee at their department(s) hence the union is able to coordinate and ease work at and between both department and faculty level.
